Patricia is a producer, writer, storyteller, and lover from Hell, Michigan based in Detroit.  

The last decade has taken her across the country producing theatre and storytelling events, including a rock opera in Los Angeles and Chicago’s 2nd Story storytelling series in Ann Arbor.  She has also planned many, many, many, weddings.  She is the producer of the critically acclaimed The Moth StorySLAM series in Detroit and Ann Arbor, Michigan.  She is the curator and MC of storytelling shows at music festivals across the country.  She is a guest editor of Storytelling Magazine.

She tells stories about her experience moving through this life. She has shared her tales with audiences at The Moth StorySLAM, Risk!, The Secret Society of Twisted Storytellers, Lamp Light Music Festival, Brutally Honest Storytelling, HerSay, Re-Generation StorySLAM, and others.

 

Her essays have been published online and in print, including The Great Lakes Review and Storytelling magazine.

She leads workshops to help businesses and individuals harness the power of story within their work.  She also coaches individuals to help them hone their storytelling skills. 

She received a Master’s degree in Storytelling from East Tennessee State University, where she worked with survivors of traumatic events to use personal narrative to help take back their lives. She started with her own.
